Step Three: At The Auction House Part One

Once you’re at the Auction House, right click on an Auctioneer to bring up the Browse Auctions screen. If you’ve installed the Auctioneer Suite successfully, it should look something like this:

Don’t worry about what everything does right now, there will be time for explanations. For now, press the Play button (the right-facing arrow) at the top. Your screen should look like the screenshot below.

Now scanning for deals!

That means it’s working. What it’s doing is going through all of the auctions on the Auction House and compiling pricing data, then saving that to a database on your PC. Given enough time, you’ll be able to track trends and market details with a high degree of accuracy. To get started, I would suggest logging in and running it every day for a few days so you have some degree of confidence in the results.

Once you’re confident in the result, it’s time to clear out a few minutes and do your first round of serious shopping.
